Punters have reminisced about their experiences at a popular pub which has now closed forever.
One of Oxford's most historic pubs The Grapes in George Street has shut.
In April 2019, the pub, popular with theatre goers and real ale drinkers, reopened following a £70,000 revamp.
But now there is a notice on the door informing drinkers the pub has closed.
Grapes closed: a timeline before the pub shut
People on Facebok have reacted to the closure, saying they are sad to see the beloved pub close and remember drinking there over the years.
Martin Newman said: "Oh no. When I first drank in there as a teenager we used to leave to Jerusalem by an old guy on the piano. Memorable."
Sonia Richards commented: "Gutted this is the pub where my husband asked me out over 20 years ago."
Saul Downey said: "I remember a rather messy, but great NYE in here many moons ago."
