A PUB has been handed a three-star food hygiene rating dropping from a four-star rating in 2019.
Shepherds Hut at The Street, Ewelme, Wallingford was given the score after an assessment on November 25, 2021 by council hygiene inspectors.
The South Oxfordshire pub was given a rating of 'generally satisfactory' for its food hygiene, the cleanliness and condition of the building and for the management of food safety.

Restaurants across the county are routinely visited by a food hygiene inspector from the council and given a rating of zero to five.
The new three star score means that out of South Oxfordshire's 115 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 51 per cent have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
