FLOODING hit the county on Christmas Day last year after heavy rain fell across Oxfordshire.
A total of 29 flood alerts and eight flood warnings were issued.

Residents in Yarnton and Witney were particularly affected.
A water main that burst in an already flooded area in Islip on Christmas Day night caused even more flooding.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue crews had to pump excess water away safely while colleagues from Thames Water worked to isolate the pipe and carry out repairs overnight.
Aerial footage taken by Abingdon resident Sam Mitchell on Boxing Day captured the aftermath of areas badly affected by heavy floods.
Luckily, this year we're not due to get any heavy showers, but there will be some light rain today according to the Met Office.
