A man has been handed a community order by an Oxford court for stealing from a shop.
Joseph Santos of Market End Way in Bicester was given the community order by Oxford Magistrates’ Court after he was found to have stolen two bottles of champagne belonging to Sainsbury’s on December 12 last year.

The champagne was valued at £84.
As per the community order, the 34-year old must be under a curfew for 14 weeks which is monitored electronically, undergo go drug rehabilitation and take part in a rehabilitation activity for 16 days.
Santos was also made to pay compensation of £84.
