Traffic cops were on the roads of Bicester this morning doing breath tests.
Officers from Thames Valley Police’s roads policing unit are part-way through their annual Operation Holly targeting drink and drug drivers.
On social media, the officers said they had breath tested 20 drivers on Queens Avenue, Bicester. None blew over the drink drive limit of 35mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
Earlier this month, Sgt Dave Hazlett said: “Having even the slightest amount of alcohol or drugs in your system can have an effect on your ability to drive and will make it more likely that you or another road user could be injured, or in the most serious cases, killed.”
