RUBBISH has been repeatedly dumped in a river.
Bin bags have been thrown into Letcombe Brooke in Grove 'several times', killing wildlife and blocking the waterways.
Since October there have been four reports of flytipping in the water near the St Ives Lane footpath.
The latest, in what appears to be a string of similar incidents, was reported to the council on Monday, December 6.
Grove Parish Council contractors and volunteers have been clearing the dumped rubbish.
The Vale of White Horse District Council 'Envirocrime' team is appealing for information and asks anyone with information about these incidents to contact the team by calling 01235 422146 or emailing envirocime@southandvale.gov.uk.
