Oxford Christmas Market was forced to take a break last year due to the pandemic but has returned this year to Broad Street to spread some festive joy among shoppers.
Here we look back at photos from previous years.
Last year, the popular market was due to take place from December 3 to December 20 but instead traders were forced to opt for an online festive market.

The market returns today and this year will run until December 19.
Organiser Nicole Rahimi said on the market's Facebook page last year: "I am beyond sad to let you know that I have to cancel the Oxford Christmas Market 2020.
"I believed I could provide a Covid-19 secure market and some form of normality in the lead up to Christmas, but the current Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions just make it impossible to organise a viable market."
The market was established in 2009 and has since become a festive tradition in the city.
It features beautifully decorated wooden stalls offering wonderful Christmas gifts and seasonal treats.

Local choirs and brass bands will perform Christmas carols throughout the event, adding to the festive atmosphere, and a small Victorian carousel is provided for children.
