Heavy and persistent rainfall is set cause flooding in the county.
An amber flood alert has been put in place for the River Leam and River Itchen, affecting areas near Banbury.
River levels are forecast to rise due to heavy rain fall and flooding roads and farmland is possible.

The flooding is expected to affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Leam between Grandborough and Leamington including Kites Hardwick, Birdingbury, Marton, Eathorpe, Hunningham and Offchurch and the River Itchen between Southam and Marton including Long Itchington.
Rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours, and river levels are expected to remain high today.
Drivers are being advised to plan routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers and pedestrians are being advised to avoid low lying footpaths and bridges near watercourses.
