A CAR crashed into the front of a house in the early hours of the morning, causing a gas leak.
Fire crews from Rewley Road and Slade Park were called to Cuddeson Way, Blackbird Leys after the car crashed into the front of the property at about 1.30am this morning.
Damage to the house was limited however a gas main was severed.
Residents of two properties were evacuated, with the pipe outside capped.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service reported the driver of the car was in police custody, under suspicion of drink-driving.
