A CHILDREN’S hospice has been chosen to be the recipient of donations from a bank’s Christmas campaign.
Helen & Douglas House will benefit from donations made to the Metro Bank in Queen Street, in addition to branches in Aylesbury and Reading.
Cash donations will be accepted over the counter, while cashless donations can be made by scanning a QR code.
Donations can also be made online, while items such as children’s clothes, toys and baby bottles are also welcomed.

James Baughan, regional director at Metro Bank, said: “The past year has been very challenging for everyone.
“As a community bank, we’re proud of our commitment towards supporting our local communities during these difficult times.
“We believe every child deserves a gift for Christmas so we’re delighted to be partnering with such a fantastic charity.”
Metro Bank’s 78 stores are featuring a ‘Magic Money Christmas Tree’ with 16 charities which support disadvantaged children chosen to receive donations from the campaign.
The donations drive will run until January 3.
