The ribbon has been cut to a new colourful room at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
The new vibrant room, called the rainbow room, is a non-clinical area that provides patients and their relatives with a space to watch TV and have a drink when private or difficult conversations are needed.
The rainbow room is on Ward 6A at the John Radcliffe, which is where vascular patients are cared for.
