A man accused of trying to get into a woman’s house via a skylight refused to leave his cell.
Arkadiusz Towarek, 24, faces allegations of breaching a restraining order and criminal damage.
He is said to have tried to get into the home of a woman in Freelands Road, Oxford, on October 14.
Towarek, of no fixed address, was due before Oxford Crown Court on Wednesday for a plea hearing.
But Judge Nigel Daly was told Towarek had not been produced from Bullingdon prison, where he is currently on remand, as he would ‘not come out of his cell and it would take three prison officers to bring him’.
The judge adjourned the case to January 21 and ordered psychiatric reports.
