A driver had a “lucky escape” after their car set on fire while still moving.
The fire started whilst the car was still in motion and the driver was alerted to it burning by another road user.
A crew from Didcot Fire Station were called to the incident, just off the A4130 near Southmead in Didcot, last night.

When they arrived firefighters found the Vauxhall Insignia was ‘well alight’.
The crew wore breathing apparatus and quickly brought the blaze under control by tackling it using a high pressure hose reel.
Firefighters said the cause of the fire was accidental and nobody was injured in the incident.
A spokesperson for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said: “The car was sadly a total loss but damage to the wider environment was prevented by the rapid attendance and intervention by one of our well trained crews
“We would like to take this opportunity to urge motorists to ensure their cars are ready for winter.”
