Ronald McDonald House in Oxford had a Christmas makeover from business owners with a decorating competition.
The competition was hosted by businesses owners and Oxfordshire networking company Opendoorz. It was held across the six communal kitchens which are shared by the 62 families staying in the Charity’s accommodation.
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK is the Opendoorz charity of the year. Members fundraised more than £12,000 in July for the Charity which provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation and support for families with children in hospital.

Opendoorz founder Cathy Dunbabin said: “We are delighted to support this great charity, and we’d like to thank everyone involved for all their hard work and donations."
Christmas decorations included a colourful Ronald McDonald tree and the winners of the competition created a Gruffalo themed kitchen.
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK corporate fundraiser Caroline Sinclair said: “After the past 18 months, we were glad to welcome representatives from the Opendoorz networking groups to decorate our House so beautifully. We are here to make sure mums, dads, siblings and relatives can be near their ill child and we make every effort to ensure that they have what they need to get through the challenges they face and be together as a family.
"At Ronald McDonald House Charities UK we’re keen to provide more than just a bed for the night, and helping families to feel more at home is important to us, especially at such a crucial time of the year for families to be together.”
