November 30 marks Just Giving Tuesday and there are plenty or Oxford-based charities to donate money, food or your time to.

Giving Tuesday is a day to give back by supporting good causes, someone in need or doing something good for your local community.

It is a day where everyone can do something to support causes which are close to their heart.

The official Giving Tuesday website states: “You can volunteer your time; donate money; share your skills; campaign for something; donate goods, food, or clothes; organise a community event such as a street or park clean-up or a coffee morning.”

Last year, £20.2 million was donated on Just Giving Tuesday, equivalent to £14,000.

The day also holds the world record for the most money raised online for charity in 24 hours.
