A HAZARDOUS chemical spillage in a lab has been cleared by firefighters.
At 11.30am toady, crews from Didcot Fire Station and Abingdon Fire Station were called after an accidental chemical spillage in a Harwell lab.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus and protective clothing entered the lab and cleared the spillage with a venting package secured in an airtight container.

Once all of the hazardous materials had been contained and removed from the building it was fully ventilated before being declared safe.
Firefighters handed the building back to the owners at around 1pm.
