With the countdown to Christmas under way, one of the South of England’s biggest car dealer groups, Eden, will be dressing up its dealerships as gift boxes and giving something back to the community.

Between November 25 and 27, Eden showrooms will be wrapped up like a Christmas present, while Eden colleagues will be giving their VIP customers and guests a taste of Christmas spirit, alongside exclusive offers wrapped up and presented to offer unbeatable new car deals.

But more than that, Eden will be supporting local communities across its 24 dealerships’ regions. Everyone attending the dealership during the promotion period and up until Christmas will be asked to bring in an unwrapped toy to place under the Eden Christmas Tree, which will then be presented to local hospices that provide support and care to children who are sick or suffering from life-limiting and terminal illnesses over the festive period.

It’s part of Eden’s ethos to be a socially responsible and caring business, led from the front by its CEO Graeme Potts, who is a keen supporter of community welfare.

All of Eden’s sites will be participating, even the service-led Bracknell depot and its Prestige and Performance site in Fleet, Hants.

“In a time when we think of joy and festivities, we cannot forget that throughout the Eden Motor Group markets there are many children suffering with life limiting or terminal illnesses,” said Graeme Potts. “We want to make sure that those children have something they can open on Christmas Day, and to bring a little light to them and make them smile for a short moment.

Eden Motor Group is one of the biggest automotive industry supporters of charities in the region. So far this year, it has raised over £18,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support through its coffee mornings initiative and over £6,000 for Sophie’s Fund and Alice’s Arc in Fareham thanks to a charity football game. The group also sponsors children’s sports teams across the South-West, in towns such as Exeter, Torbay and Reading.

The group represents seven brands across Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire, Worcestershire, Somerset, Devon and Warwickshire.
