THESE pictures show the dramatic scene as firefighters tackled a blaze in Oxford last night.
Photos show a house, in Leon Close off Cowley Road, alight.
A spokesperson for Oxfordshire County Council, the local authority which oversees Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, said crews were called at 11.40pm.
Crews extinguished the fire, which was in the second floor and roof space.
Two adults received medical attention from fire and rescue, while the cause of the fire is currently unable to be confirmed.
One eyewitness told the Oxford Mail he saw four fire engines at the scene and an ambulance, which he said nobody got into, at approximately 11.45pm last night.
Amir Steve Ali, who took the below photos, said: “I was driving past and I saw a fire engine, followed by another.
“There was about 25 to 30 people outside in their dressing gowns.
“The fire from the roof just kept coming – the fire service took quick action.”
