A pair of brothers will stand trial next year accused of brandishing tyre levers in a car wash brawl.
Minel Albastroiu, 27, and Ionut Albastroiu, 28, are said by prosecutors to have been involved in a fight with another group of men – who have never been found – outside the car wash in Magdalen Street, off Cowley Road, on October 10.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Monday afternoon, the men, of Roseberry Gardens, Haringey, pleaded not guilty to allegations of violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
They were remanded in custody by Judge Michael Gledhill QC, who fixed their trial for March 28 next year.
Cathy Olliver appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service. The Albastroiu brothers were represented by Gordanna Austin.
