A MAN punched a woman, knocking out a tooth and leaving her with a black eye.
The assault happened on Saturday at around 3.30am outside The Wheatsheaf in George Street, Banbury.

The man punched a woman and two men, all aged in their twenties.
The woman sustained a black eye and had a tooth knocked out, one of the men sustained a black eye and the other man a bruised back.
None of them needed hospital treatment.
The offender is described as a white man, aged in his sixties, of average build, with short, mousey brown hair.
He was wearing dark jeans, a t-shirt and a black coat.

Investigating officer, PC Darius Horton, based at Banbury police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or any with information about what happened, to please come forward.
“To report any information to police, please call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43210513156.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
