A PUB has transformed its garden with a new makeover.

The Bay Tree pub on The Green in Grove, Wantage has undergone a significant garden transformation including a new 75 inch external TV for enhanced outside sports viewing for guests to enjoy all year round.

The Greene King pub has undergone a complete refurbishment including a new covered awning with heating, lighting and new dining furniture.

Guests will be able to enjoy eating, drinking and socialising under additional festoon lighting around the patio areas, with a new external TV. The children’s play area has a new artificial turf and seating for parents has been installed.

The pub's drink range has also had a makeover and been widened to sell more than 35 gins, rums, whiskies and vodkas as well as a healthy selection of soft drinks.

Commenting on the garden opening, general manager, Stuart Hall said: “We look forward to welcoming customers old and new to the new-look garden at the Bay Tree and hope they will enjoy some of the favourite dishes from our recently launched menu.

"There are separate menus for smaller bites for adults and children as well as specials throughout the week. The Bay Tree continues to champion real ales and has a selection of national and locally brewed ales. There is live music on Friday nights, check our Facebook page for details.”
