A MAN has been charged by police after a sex attack on Cowley Road.
Frank Hollywell, aged 29, has been charged today with one count of sexual assault by penetration.
It happened as the victim walked home alone down Bartlemas Road at around 12.30am on Thursday morning.
She was approached by a stranger - holding a white pole - who offered to walk her home. She said no, and sat down beside a parked car on Cowley Road.
But he proceeded to sit next her and sexually assaulted her under her clothing.
Hollywell was arrested yesterday night and has been remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Magistrates court tomrorow morning.
