A coroner will this afternoon consider the case of a teenager who was fatally stabbed in Oxford three years ago.

Harun Jama was just 16-years-old when he was attacked in Friars Wharf, near the River Thames, on January 3, 2018.

Despite the efforts of passers-by to perform CPR, the boy later died at John Radcliffe Hospital.

A number of people were arrested on suspicion of Harun’s murder but were later released by detectives.

A 34-year-old man was arrested in Liverpool in connection with the boy's death. Two months later, police confirmed they were not pursuing charges against the man.

An inquest will be heard at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court this afternoon.
