With Christmas shows across the country cancelled last year, we bet you thought that your best panto days were behind you.

But no, they aren't - Pantomimes are back and they're bigger, cheesier and better than ever.

We have put together a list of the best festive productions in Oxfordshire that are starting from November onwards.

Christmas pantomimes in Oxfordshire 2021

Banbury Wykham Theatre 

Robin Hood

Avocet Theatre Company is returning to the Banbury Wykham Theatre for the festive season.

The familiar panto will also see a classic Avocet Theatre twist so it is not one to miss out on!

Carterton Community College

Aladdin...Because that's his name

The Amateur Dramatics group Acting Community Thingumybogs is coming to Carterton Community College just in time for Christmas.

This family-friendly panto is "packed with songs, slapstick, silliness and fairytale magic" so there's something that everyone can enjoy.

Chipping Norton Theatre

Rapunzel

Rescheduled from 2020, the classic fairytale is coming to life at the Chipping Norton Theatre.

Audiences are encouraged to "let their hair down" their "latest and greatest adventure" which is packed with sword fights and songs.

Henley-on-Thames Kenton Theatrec

Cinderella

The Kenton Theatre welcomes the beloved fairytale pantomime: Cinderalla this festive season.

This year, Oxford Playhouse is hosting the man who steals from the rich and gives to the poor in this classic panto.

The family-friendly show will follow your favourite band of outlaws which will no doubt get you and the kids in the festive spirit.
