JOSE PHILLIPS, 60, of no fixed address, will face the justices on November 17 after he admitted the last in a series of offences of breaking his criminal behaviour order. He admitted being in breach of the order by standing in Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford, making traffic swerve and shouting a swearing in public. At previous trials in September and October he has been found guilty of breaching the CBO, assault and disorderly behaviour. The magistrates ordered a pre-sentence report and bailed him to appear before court on November 17.

NAHEED TAJ, 40, of Phipps Road, Oxford, was found guilty in her absence of failing to identify the driver of a Range Rover suspected of having committed a traffic offence. She was fined £660, given six points and ordered to pay £216 in costs and surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER CHAPMAN, 39, of Compton Drive, Abingdon, was given a community order with 120 hours of unpaid work having pleaded guilty to taking a Suzuki Swift without consent and damaging it. He was banned from the roads for a year and ordered to pay £650 in costs and compensation.

ANDREW HARDIMAN, 45, of Seven Acres, Thame, admitted attempted sexual communication with a child. He was bailed to return to Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 3 for sentence.

BARRY LEWIN, 46, of Wentworth Road, Thame, pleaded guilty to making a threat to destroy a house in Lingwell Close, Chinnor, intending that a woman would believe the threat would be carried out. He was ordered to carry out an alcohol rehabilitation programme as part of a community order, abide by a restraining order banning him from contacting his victim or going to the Lingwell Close house, and pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

NEVILLE MIGHTY, 56, of Cypress Gardens, Bicester, admitted drink driving a black BMW in Bicester, on September 25. He had 109mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for 25 months and ordered to do 90 hours of unpaid work. The magistrates ordered he pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

GBENGA FADAIRO, 37, of Coverley Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and while over the drink drive limit on Park End Street on September 25. He was found to have 44mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, only narrowly over the drink drive limit. Fadairo was banned from driving for a year, fined £215 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

TERENCE MASON, 61, of Tylers Green, Buckinghamshire, admitted driving a Toyota Avensis on the A41 at Bicester on September 26 while over the drink drive limit. He had 65mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £184, banned from driving for 20 months and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

AARON MCDONALD, 18, of Appletree Close, Oxford, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis and was bailed to attend Oxford Crown Court for sentence on October 28.

JASON KELLY, 39, of Brookside, Abingdon, admitted having a Stanley knife in Northcourt Road, Abingdon, and a charge of threatening behaviour. He was sentenced to four months’ imprisonment suspended for a year and ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work. Kelly must pay £85 costs and a £128 victim surcharge.

LEWIS COURT, 36, of Scott Close, Kidlington, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Chinnor on March 13. He was granted bail to attend Oxford Crown Court for sentence on November 16.

PATRICK MCDONAGH, 25, of Dunmow Close, Feltham, pleaded guilty to possession of a folding knife in Mill Street, Witney. He received four months’ imprisonment suspended for a year and must abide by a two month curfew. He was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £128 victim surcharge.

DEAN BOYLES, 32, of Brambling Way, Oxford, admitted drink driving a Ford Puma in Abingdon Road, Oxford. Tests showed he had 56mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was banned from the road for a year, fined £336 and ordered to pay £85 costs.

GARY SHILLINGFORD, 64, of Edward Road, Alton, was caught drink driving in Eynsham on September 27. He had 50mcgs in 100ml of breath – almost one-and-a-half times the legal limit. He was banned from driving, fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge. No order was made for him to pay costs, due to his means.

CHARLES WATSON, 52, of Webb Crescent, Chipping Norton, was caught drink driving in Broughton, with tests showing he had 68mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £120, banned from the roads for 40 months and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

ELLIOTT HARPER, 26, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted a string of shoplifting offences, damaging a security tag at an Oxford ASDA and possession of cannabis. He was remanded in custody to appear before Oxford Crown Court on October 28 for sentence.

ROBIN DAVIES, 42, of Elms Road, Botley, pleaded guilty to using violence to secure entry to a house in Botley, damaging a plant pot and common assault. The magistrates imposed a community order, requiring him to complete an alcohol rehabilitation programme.

JAMES WALTERS, 30, of Dukes Close, Shabbington, admitted two counts of assault by beating committed in Oxford on March 18. He was fined £800, given a restraining order banning him from contacting one of his victims and must pay £165 in costs and surcharge.

DAVID DENT, 23, of Densham Road, London, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Focus in Bicester while over the cannabis limit. He was banned from driving for a year, fined £50 and ordered to pay £84 in costs and surcharge.

JOHN DRAPER, 41, of Leaver Road, Henley-on-Thames, admitted making – or possession of – indecent photographs of children in category B and C. He was sentenced to 18 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for two years. He must complete an alcohol rehabilitation programme and 100 hours of unpaid work, and pay a £115 victim surcharge. He must comply with the terms of a sexual harm prevention order aimed at limiting his access to the internet.

SAFRAZ ALI, 45, of Kersington Crescent, Oxford, pleaded guilty to assaulting a man by beating him on May 30. He must pay £100 compensation and £40 in costs. As part of a community order he will have to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and up to 18 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

ROBERT MILLER, 52, of Arbury Close, Banbury, admitted breaching a sexual harm prevention order by failing to disclose a smart phone to police. He was bailed to appear before Oxford Crown Court on October 28 for sentence.

JOSEPH QUIBELL, 41, of Rudloe, Wiltshire, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Vauxhall Vivaro van in Blewbury on August 7. He had 172mlg of alcohol in 100ml of blood – twice the legal limit of 85mlg. He was fined £240, ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge and banned from the roads for 17 months.

ELLA TRAFFORD, 21, of Thames View, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a police officer in Wantage on April 7 and damaging a police can on the same date. She was given a 12 month alcohol treatment order, told to pay compensation of £50 and must pay £140 in costs and surcharge.

MARKO LAZAROV, 50, of Bartholomew Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving a Honda Civic carelessly in Watlington Road, Oxford, without a licence and while over the cannabis drug driving limit. He was fined £200, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £79 in costs and surcharge.
