Doctor Who and Sherlock fans will have the chance to see famous TV writer Steven Moffat.

The writer, who has won an Emmy award, five BAFTA Awards and four Hugo Awards will be speaking at the Oxford University union on Thursday.

Since Mr Moffat was a child he has been a fan of Doctor Who and he is responsible for some of the most famous episodes of the sci-fi TV series.

He wrote well known episodes such as 'Blink' and 'Silence in the Library'.

In 2015, he was appointed an Order of the British Empire for his services to drama.
