A MAN was ordered to pay compensation of more than £450 after stealing makeup from Boots in Cornmarket Street.
Moussa Adoum, 37, of Botley Road, Oxford admitted stealing a makeup gift set (of a value unknown) and five makeup items (to the value of £42) from Boots on March 26.
He also admitted assault by beating a man and criminal damage to a sign at Boots, to the value of £312.73 on the same day.
Adoum was subject to a community order, and as part of that, must attend appointments with a responsible officer for a maximum of 10 days.
In total, he was ordered to pay compensation of £454.73, and a victim of surcharge of £90.
