TWO teenagers were arrested on suspicion of arson after a huge fire broke out at a barn.

Emergency crews were called just before 3pm yesterday to reports of a fire at a farm on Cuckoo Lane, off the A40 near Eynsham.

Around 40 firefighters from six Oxfordshire fire stations and specialist units from Berkshire were called to the blaze.

Police have confirmed that two boys, both aged 15, one from Eynsham and one from Freeland, were arrested yesterday on suspicion of arson.

They have both been released on police bail until November 18 while investigations continue.

The fire involved more than 600 tonnes of hay and no one was injured.
