There have been 542 new Covid-19 cases and zero deaths in Oxfordshire in the last 24 hours, the latest Government figures have revealed.
The new cases were recorded as follows:
• Oxford – 71
• Cherwell - 111
• South Oxfordshire - 156
• Vale of White Horse 111
• West Oxfordshire 93
These latest figures mean there has now been a total of 72,465 recorded cases of Covid-19 in the county.
Across England, 41,745 new people had a positive test result reported today taking the total up to 7,388,884.
The new cases in Oxfordshire also bring the current weekly rate per 100,000 population to 472.8.
There have been there were zero deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, while 1,132 people have died with the virus since the pandemic began.
Across the UK, 162,620 deaths have been recorded with Covid-19 on the death certificate.
