TWO areas in Oxford are still lagging behind when it comes to Covid vaccine uptake.

Data revealed in an interactive map published by the Government shows the percentage of people aged 12 and over who have been vaccinated up to and including October 20.

In Oxford Central and Headington, still less than 50 per cent of people have had their first dose, while in Risinghurst & Sandhills almost 80 per cent have.

Local authorities are encouraging people to get vaccinated to help stop the spread of Covid as cases are rising across the country and Oxfordshire.
