A bricklayer died in a crash in Farmoor, a coroner heard.

Peter Osborne, 55, died when his Ford Kuga was involved in the crash with a JCB digger on the B4044 Eynsham Road on October 4.

The bricklayer’s death was verified at the scene by air ambulance doctor Dr Simon Hughes.

Opening the inquest into Mr Osborne’s death, senior coroner Darren Salter heard that a post-mortem had been carried out but the cause of death was yet to be confirmed pending further analysis.

He was married and lived at Lambourn Road, Oxford.

A full inquest will be held on March 22 next year.
