A dangerous dog must be kept under control or it will be destroyed, magistrates have warned.
Angela Booker, 58, of High Street in Harwell, admitted to being the person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control at a hearing at Oxford Magistrates' Court earlier this year.
On December 22, 2020, the dog, described as a long-haired German Shepherd called Buddy, injured a man on Campion Road.
Booker was fined £250 under the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, and was ordered to pay compensation of £750 and pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
In a separate case, a man from Thame was handed a £7,000 court bill after his Rottweiler named Bronson sank his teeth into a man's ankle and left him with a 5cm wound.
Graham Bishop, 67, was training the two-year-old Rottweiler on a basketball court at Elms Park, Thame, on February 4, when the dog attacked another walker.
