Blenheim Palace’s popular Christmas lights illuminated trail returns next month in the grounds of the Woodstock stately home.
Here we look back at some striking images from the spectacular light show in recent years.
Christmas at Blenheim Palace this year runs from November 19 to January 2 and features the lights trail and the return of the Christmas market.

More than a million lights, lasers and seasonal sounds will fill the air with festive fun through the palace’s picture-perfect gardens.
Last year there were a number of new installations, including Blue Neuron - created from reworked heat-treated plastic bottles, and Heart of Stars, scattering thousands of tiny beams across the path leading to the Rose Garden, and the Water Terrace Fire Garden.
You can also explore the palace rooms as The Nutcracker is reimagined.
And the Christmas Market is back in the Great Court, running from November 19 to December 19.
It did not go ahead last year due to the pandemic but visitors were still allowed to enjoy the trail.
The market is free to enter with a pre-booked ticket, and 70 chalets featuring food sellers, designers and craft traders will be housed in the Great Court.
