Vaccine creator Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert will speak at today's Global Investment Summit which seeks to encourage foreign investment by showcasing the best of British innovation.
The Government will host the one-day summit in London which will highlight our green industries of the future in particular.
The Department for International Trade has already announced global business leaders and industry heavyweights will be joining Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng will also attend summit, which has levelling up and attracting greener and more sustainable investment on the agenda.
Later the Queen will host a reception for international business and investment leaders at Windsor Castle.
The reception comes ahead of the royal family’s attendance at events in Glasgow for the UN Climate Change conference in November.
The head of state will be joined by the Prince of Wales, Duke of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Prince Michael of Kent.
