TRAFFIC was queueing on the A40 following an accident involving two cars.
One lane was closed with traffic queueing, with two cars involved in the accident on the A40 London Road eastbound at the Merewood Avenue turn off.
Lane two was closed, with drivers encouraged to approach with caution.
Thames Valley Police attended the scene, with traffic slow moving back to Headington Roundabout.
The incident has since been cleared.
