An arrest warrant was issued after a Mollington man failed to turn up to explain why he’d failed to keep in touch with the probation service.

Michael Doran, 27, was given a 12 month suspended sentence at Isleworth Crown Court last year for causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He was due before a judge at Oxford Crown Court on Monday accused of breaching his suspended sentence order by failing to keep in touch with the probation service.

Doran, of Farnborough Road, Mollington, had already finished his 200 hours of unpaid work, Judge Maria Lamb was told.

Issuing a warrant for Doran’s arrest when he failed to turn up at court, Judge Lamb said: “He hasn’t kept in contact and if he had kept in contact he’d be here. He’d better come back to court and face the music.”
