Halloween is quickly approaching, and after a lockdown impacted spooky season last year, many of us are looking forward to celebrating the event in style.

There are many activities you can enjoy across Wales to mark Halloween 2021.

We took a look at some of the bigger events that will be taking place at the end of the month.

Ffear Fforest at Zip World

Ffear Fforest will run from October 22 until October 31 at Zip World.

The annual fright-filled event was absent last year as a result of the pandemic but will return with a bang later this month.

A circus theme and improved special effects await visitors to the event each evening between 7.30pm and 10.30pm.

Tickets for Ffear Fforest cost £30 per person, and also include rides on the Cursed Coaster and a pass on The Nets – Europe’s longest net walkway as you try to escape the clowns.

Book now with Zip World.

Skirrid Mountain Inn Ghost Hunt

The Skirrid Inn, in Abergavenny, is revered as one of the most haunted places in the UK.

The oldest known reference to one of the Most Haunted Pubs in Wales, which nestles within the shadow of the Skirrid Mountain, is in 1110 when John Crowther was sentenced to death for sheep stealing and was hanged from a beam of the inn.

Over the next eight hundred years 182 felons would meet a similar fate, dangling by the neck over the building’s stairwell at the Inn.

And this Halloween, a series of Ghost Hunts will be taking place at the pub.

A seven-hour ghost hunt will take place on Saturday, October 23.

There will also be ghost hunts on October 29, 30 and 31.

Terror Mountain 2021

Based at the Silver Mountain Experience near Aberystwyth, Terror Mountain 2021 promises five live horror attractions with two new for this year.

Haunted Live and The Coven are new to the attraction this year and promise to get the blood pumping.

While Summoning, Retribution and Night Stalker are all returning favourites.

Terror Mountain returns on October 22 and 23, and will run from October 28 until October 31.

Tickets are available via Terror Mountain.
