A man admitted robbing booze and cash at a Didcot Sainsbury's Local store.
Louis Fielding, 22, stole the items at the Wantage Road supermarket on September 8.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court, Fielding, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to robbery.
Judge Michael Gledhill QC ordered pre-sentence reports. Fielding will be sentenced at the St Aldates court on November 25.
Robbery carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, although sentences can vary depending on the value of the stolen goods and the harm suffered by the victim. The charge is indictable-only, meaning it is so serious that cases can only be dealt with at the crown court.
