An alleged drug dealer will stand trial next summer.
Sherif Yazje, 24, is said by prosecutors to have been dealing cannabis and in possession of £1,400-worth of dirty cash in Oxford on April 22 last year.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, Yazje, of Arnolds Way, Oxford, pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to supply cannabis, possession of cocaine and possession of criminal property.
Bailing him until his trial on August 1, 2022, Judge Michael Gledhill QC apologised for the delay but explained there was a significant backlog of criminal cases ‘in this court as in all courts’.
The trial is expected to last three days.
