The Condé Nast Traveller rankings are out and it seems Oxford has been dropped from the top ten cities in the UK.

Every year, it collaborates with its sister title in the USA to rank the best cities in the UK based on nightlife, restaurants and friendliness.

As part of their Reader's Choice Awards, readers have been voting on their favourite airports, hotels and cities.

In 2020, Oxford came in second place with an overall score of 89.83 but this year, it seems to have disappeared from the rankings entirely.

It's not all bad news though, a hotel in Oxfordshire has made the top 5 of UK hotels.

The Soho Farmhouse scored an impressive 89.91 ranking.

This year's list saw London win out as a hub of 32 bustling neighbourhoods with an 89.68 score.

The capital was closely followed by scenic Edinburgh at 89.49 with Liverpool climbing up from its tenth place spot last year to come in third.
