TWO lorries crashed on the A34 in the early hours of the morning.
One lane is closed southbound on the carriageway from junction 9 of the M40 to the Pear Tree junction while recovery work and accident investigation work is carried out.

The lane will remain closed for the rest of the day while the incident is dealt with.

Following the road traffic collision on the A34 south bound from the M40 Junction 9 to Pear Tree junction this morning, one lane has now re-opened and the other lane will remain closed all day.
We would like to thank everyone for your patience.
The entire southboung carriageway was closed for about four hours, after the crash which happened at around 3am.
