Officers investigating the murder of a man in Oxford have made a further arrest.
A 40-year-old man from Oxford was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and assisting an offender.

He remains in police custody.
The arrest is in connection with an incident in Bayswater Road on Friday in which a man in his thirties died.
Lewis Brown, aged 20, of Barton Village Road, Oxford, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
Although formal identification has not yet taken place, a Home Office post-mortem examination conducted yesterday has confirmed that the victim died from a stab wound to the chest.

The scene-watch in Bayswater Road and adjacent park has now been lifted.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, but is expected to be confirmed today.
