UPDATE: Courtney was located safe and well this afternoon.

Police have reissued their appeal for a missing teenage girl from Witney, as concern continues to grow for her welfare.

16-year old Courtney Lancaster was last seen at 6.50pm on Friday night at an address in the town.

Police are reappealing for information as they believe the teenager may have left Oxfordshire.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “We believe she may have been heading towards Faringdon, Swindon and Neath in South Wales, and may be using the train network.”

Courtney is described as a ‘white girl, around 5ft 2ins tall with a stocky build’.

She currently has pink hair which is tied up on top of her head, although the image Thames Valley Police has provided does not show this hair colour.

Courtney is also known to frequent Oxford and Iffley Village and is known to like water and water fountains.

Thames Valley Police yesterday said that concern is growing for the teenager’s welfare.

Investigating officer PC Cameron Morgan, based at Witney police station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Courtney’s welfare, and I would appeal to anybody who knows of her whereabouts to please get in touch with police.

“You can do so by calling 101, quoting reference number 43210454280.

“I would also appeal directly to Courtney, if you see this message. Please get in touch with the police. You are not in any trouble, but we are concerned for you and want to know that you are safe.”
