Forensics working at the scene of the incident this afternoon
Forensics are conducting an area search in Bayswater Road and Stowford Road after last night’s fatal stabbing in Barton.
Thames Valley Police officers were called just before 6pm to reports of a man being attacked in Bayswater Road.
The victim, a man aged in his thirties, died of his injuries at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
After being closed off this morning, Bayswater Road has now reopened.
Forensics continue to work at the scene of the incident by searching in bushes and drains.
