This was the scene this morning in Barton after last night’s fatal stabbing, which has seen Thames Valley Police launch a murder investigation.
Officers were called just before 6pm to reports of a man being attacked in Bayswater Road, Barton.
The victim, a man aged in his thirties, died of his injuries at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
This morning part of Bayswater Road between Stowford Road and Waynflete Road was cordoned off.
At the scene there were multiple police officers and vehicles along with forensic officers.
A 20-year old man from Oxford has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He was arrested in the early hours of this morning and is being held in custody.
