SEVEN people who were issued with fines by Oxford Magistrates Court last month for driving at more than 70mph.

Information published by Oxford Magistrates Court revealed one person was caught driving 116mph, well above the speed limit.

The seven speeders were fined by Oxford Magistrate Court, with many receiving penalty points or being disqualified from diving.

•Shona Marie Kay, 28, of Heron Close in Carterton was fined £220 and given three penalty points for driving 87mph on the A34 on February 16 2021.

•Jake Beal, 28, of Pipit Green in Bracknell was fined £500 and given six penalty points for driving 101mph on the A33 on May 8 2021.

•Erdal Alioglou, 32, of Broad Street Kidderminister was fined £100 and given five penalty points for driving 96mph on the A34 on February 28 2021.

•Marco Dselladore, 24, of Doncaster Road, Wakefield was fined £360 and given three penalty points for driving 103mph on the A34 on February 16 2021.

•Richard Salter, 36, of Mallory Road in Basingstoke was fined £830 and given six penalty points for driving 101mph on the A34 on May 9 2021.

•Zafar Adeel Hussain Shah, 30, of Hagden Lane in Watford was fined £660 and disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 30 days for driving 116mph on the A41 on March 7 2021.

•Daniel Judah Boateng Nti, 29, of Moeran Close in Milton Keynes was fined £500 and disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 21 days for driving 101mph on the A5 on December 29 2020.
