ONE of Oxford’s most dynamic bands, The Autumn Saints, are preparing to treat fans to songs from their new album with a Saturday night hometown show tomorrow.
While the pandemic put paid to live performances, the indie-Americana group spent the time wisely, recording a new 12-track LP and adding a fourth member, Nick Bennett, on keys, harmonica, lap steel and harmonies.
Tomorrow they bring their new tunes to the O2 Academy Oxford on Cowley Road, supporting Celtic-tinged folk punks Black Water County.
Gig-goers should expect an early show, with doors at 6.30pm and the Saints hitting the stage at 7pm.
The band say: “Lockdown was not a rest-time for us and we have been as prolific as ever. Expect new songs as well as some classics.”
Tickets from ticketmaster.co.uk.
