A man has been slapped with a community order and made to pay £405 after assaulting three emergency workers while they were on duty.

Damien Aiden Davies pleaded guilty to assaulting three Thames Valley Police constables in Abingdon.

The 29-year-old assaulted the three while they were carrying out their duties on August 15, 2020.

He was handed a community order which he must comply with by February 28 2023.

The requirements are doing a maximum of 40 days of rehabilitation activities and carrying out 50 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.

Davies, of Pochard Place, Blackbird Leys, was ordered to pay £225 in compensation to the three police constables - £75 each - as well as a £95 victim surcharge and costs of £85.
