A rogue builder who fleeced customers and tradesmen out of more than £50,000 was warned he faces a jail sentence.
Paul Allcock, 52, admitted defrauding four customers and two tradesmen between August 2017 and February 2018.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Monday, Allcock, of Northleach, Gloucestershire, pleaded guilty to 13 charges of fraud by false representation and two allegations of fraudulently obtaining services from tradesmen.
His victims either handed over thousands for work and materials or provided thousands of pounds-worth of work for which they were not paid.
Bailing him to return to court on November 19 for sentence, Judge Michael Gledhill QC said: “On my understanding of the gravity of these offences, it is more than likely that an immediate custodial sentence will be the outcome.”
