Standing with Giants, a not-for-profit art organisation, are seeking willing volunteers to help with the construction and painting of their popular ‘Giants’ before the winter weather kicks in.

Following the incredibly successful installations at Blenheim Palace last year and Oxford’s South Park this summer, the First World War soldier and NHS-inspired figures are now in popular demand.

“We currently have a consignment of the soldiers en route to the Falkland Islands and have just been invited to install the NHS figures at a site in Coventry next month," said Dan Barton, founder of Standing with Giants.

“It’s all very exciting, we also have the soldiers going to one of the local National Trust properties this November and another set going to a hugely prestigious location just outside London - which will be announced shortly.”

The organisation, which is based between Witney and Standlake, uses its installations to fundraise for the Royal British Legion and NHS Charities Together.
